Have you met the centers cooks?
Shannon is a new staff member. She loves to cook. she says, "food bands people". She prides herself on making hearty meals that fill people up!
Laurie is one of our members and a fabulous volunteer that helps with meals. she loves to bake. Cooking is a family tradition for her.

lunch- American chop suey
Tuesday-
breakfast- toast with toppings
lunch- assorted soups
Wednesday-
breakfast- apple cinnamon oatmeal/toast
lunch- bbq chicken drumsticks, rice, veg
Thursday-
lunch- Pork lion, mashed potatoes, vegetable, dessert
Friday-
Valentines Party- sandwiches, chips, soda

After what felt, to me at least, like an unbearable time, we have found a new site for the center! At some point in early October, we will be opening at 73 Main St. in Berlin. And for those who know my ice cream difficulties, next to cup and cone.
