Meadow View Nursing Center is a nonprofit healthcare community since 1995.

Offering independent living, skilled nursing and therapy services, long-term care, and a secure neighborhood for Alzheimer's/Dementia individuals. Meadow View Nursing Center is a not-for-profit skilled nursing facility located in the heart of the beautiful Laurel Highlands. Meadow View is a 150 bed licensed facility which brings together rehabilitation, nursing care and specialty medical services to meet the needs of older adults in Somerset County and the surrounding areas.

We would like to give a huge thank you to Heartland Hospice for coming in and spoiling our residents with delicious donuts from The Pie Shoppe! 🍩💛

Along with the sweet treats, we enjoyed some awesome music that had our residents smiling, singing along, and tapping their feet. It was such a fun and uplifting afternoon filled with laughter, sugar, and great tunes!

We truly appreciate Heartland Hospice for always going above and beyond to bring joy to our residents. Moments like these mean so much to them and to us!

This holiday season, our Giving Tree is filled with colorful bulbs — each one representing a resident’s Christmas wish or need. From simple comforts to small surprises, every wish is a chance to bring joy to someone who calls our community home. ❤️

Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Stop by the tree and choose a bulb.
2️⃣ Shop for the listed gift.
3️⃣ Return it wrapped (with the bulb tag attached).
4️⃣ If you wish, take a few moments to visit the resident whose wish you’re fulfilling — share a smile, a story, or some holiday cheer!

Your kindness doesn’t just provide a gift — it creates a connection, brightens someone’s day, and spreads the true spirit of Christmas. 🎁

🎲💜 Fun & Laughter with Interim Hospice! 💜🎲

We had such a wonderful time this week thanks to our friends from Interim Hospice, who stopped by to spend the day with our residents! They brought smiles, laughter, and a variety of fun games — plus some great prizes for everyone to enjoy! 🎉🎁

Our residents had a blast participating, sharing laughs, and feeling the joy of friendly competition.

A huge thank you to the amazing team at Interim Hospice for their kindness, time, and energy. Your visit truly brightened our day and warmed our hearts! 💖

We’ve been celebrating in style and having a hole lot of fun! 🍩
Staff kicked off the week with National Donut Day, enjoying some sweet treats and smiles all around! Then, we showed off our team spirit by rocking our favorite jerseys for National Jersey Day — representing our teams with pride and a whole lot of personality! 🏈⚾🏀

It’s always a joy to see our staff come together, share laughter, and make every day a little brighter for our residents and each other. ❤️

We gathered together, Monday Nov. 10th for our Veterans Day Program — a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. ❤️

Residents, families, and staff came together to reflect, share stories, and honor those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. We proudly stood for the Pledge of Allegiance, listened to beautiful patriotic songs sang by local talent, recognized our resident veterans, and took a moment of silence as Taps played in remembrance. 🎖️

A special thank you to everyone who helped make this program so meaningful — and to our veterans, we salute you. Your courage, strength, and service will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸✨
