Seaside Counseling & Wellness Center, an affiliate of Maryland Wellness, was honored to take part in a wonderful community engagement event at the historic Hudson Behavioral Health Center, focused on partnership and open conversation.

Our Community Support Coordinator, Andre Henry, and Intern, Ikra Ijaz, represented Maryland Wellness with pride — connecting with local organizations, sharing our mental health, substance use, and medication management services, and learning about the many amazing programs supporting our community.

A special highlight came when Meredith Miller, Mental Health Coordinator for Wicomico County Public Schools, expressed interest in our In-School Therapy Program and plans to follow up for more details.

We left feeling inspired and grateful for the chance to connect, share, and grow alongside such passionate community partners. 💙💜

We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Partners Chat & Chew! This event was nothing short of amazing — an incredible turnout, meaningful discussions, and so much collaboration. 💬🤝

From sharing business cards to exchanging innovative ideas, the energy in the room truly reflected the power of community partnership. Special thanks to Therapist Letasha Harmon from Seaside/Maryland Wellness for sharing valuable insights about our services and open referral opportunities.

Andre Henry and Akyra James were honored to attend the 5th Annual Community Black Business Ball, an inspiring event celebrating minorities making moves in our community. The event highlighted business, mental health, and social advocacy, with sponsorship from Perdue and Tidal Health.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with like-minded organizations, share the mission of Maryland Wellness, and explore future partnerships to strengthen our community.

The event featured guest speakers Tyler Lepley, acclaimed actor from Tyler Perry’s hit TV shows, and Brother Nuri Muhammad, national speaker and author, who spoke passionately about the importance of mental health and addressing challenges in underserved communities.

We’re proud to be part of a growing network working to create healthier, stronger communities. 💙

This past weekend, our team had a fantastic time connecting with the community at West Salisbury Elementary’s Trunk or Treat! 🍬

Lindsay (Mental Health Therapist) shared insights from a therapy perspective while handing out candy and Maryland Wellness info. Akyra (Rehabilitation Counselor) greeted everyone with her warm smile, sharing updates on our PRP program. Andre (Community Support Coordinator) connected with local organizations to explore future partnerships — all while spreading smiles and treats. 😄

We love getting out in the community and sharing the services and support Seaside Wellness, an affiliate of Maryland Wellness, provides. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello!
