This face and these words... THIS is why I love what I do. All it takes is one healthy embryo. Thank you for sharing this message of hope!

"We couldn’t thank Dr. Osman & RMA NJ enough!! After our 1st retrieval resulted in one good embryo following a failed transfer, it was hard to stay positive. We didn’t want to give up! Our second retrieval also resulted in ONE good embryo. Our last chance. And here he is 2 months later It’s a hard journey but worth It! Thank you Dr. Osman & RMA NJ!!" - Fallyn Bollaro

The results of this study investigating the effects of COVID19 vaccination on in vitro cycle outcomes are reassuring for individuals pursuing fertility treatment. The number of healthy embryos attained after as well as pregnancy rates were equivalent between women that have received the COVID19 vaccine and those that have not. Women that received the vaccine did not have an increased risk of miscarriage after an embryo transfer. This further assures us that COVID19 vaccination does not compromise treatment outcomes, and helps to mitigate risks associated with infection both before and during pregnancy.

'Really convincing evidence' that vaccine has no negative effect on reproduction, expert says

When you enter into treatment and receive the list of medications you’ll need, you will oftentimes see birth control medication on that list. It seems contradictory, why would be prescribed when you’re trying to get ? It’s an important question that needs some context.

Dr. Leo Doherty and myself answer this question and many more in RMA Network's latest blog on and birth control dosing.

Birth control pills can be used to keep a woman's follicles and uterine lining in a baseline state for IVF treatment and achieving pregnancy.
