On April 24, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 PM, during Autism Awareness Month, Success On The Spectrum (SOS) will host a fully inclusive Autism Prom at the American Legion Building (232 Union Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876). For many of our attendees, this will be the *first — and possibly only — prom they ever experience.

Our students are formally inviting Brendan Fraser, an autism parent himself, to attend. His presence would elevate this story from a local event to a powerful public conversation about autism acceptance. As an autism dad, his advocacy resonates deeply with families, and his influence helps bridge understanding between the autism community and the general public.

This is not a fundraiser or a publicity event. It is a community moment — one that families across NJ will relate to, celebrate, and proudly share.
