🎄✨ What an awesome Christmas season it has been here at Wi******er!
Yesterday, we hosted our annual Friends and Family Christmas Party, and it was truly a wonderful day. We enjoyed live music from Jeff Pierce and gifts, an awesome lunch, games and finished the celebration with beautiful Christmas caroling from the Bernie Beta Club.

An extra special thank you to our awesome activities director, Brandi Cooper as well as Kelli Ellis from Crown Hospice for making this party the best one yet! Also, thank you to David/The Grinch from Legacy Hospice for bringing the extra smiles.
Our hearts are full and grateful to be able to share these special moments together. ❤️

Nothing is better than starting the day with some stretches and dancing! Our Winter Warm Up is in full swing, happening every Monday through Friday at 8:30 AM. Today’s song was All Shook Up by the one and only King of Rock 'n' Roll, Elvis Presley! We can't get enough of the energy, the dancing, and of course, the smiles!

Armond, a dedicated CNA who has been with us for almost a year, consistently goes above and beyond to make our residents feel seen, heard, and cared for. He has earned glowing compliments from both residents and their families, with one resident even noting how patient and kind he is.

🍂 Resident Favorite Annual Thanksgiving Dessert Bar at Wi******er Nursing Center! 🍂

Today, we hosted our annual Thanksgiving Dessert Bar, and what a sweet success it was! Our amazing staff went all out to bring in their best desserts, and the competition was fierce! From pies to cookies, it was hard to pick a favorite, but our residents made sure to try them all—some even sneaked in a dessert before the main meal!

Later, our wonderful Activities Director made the rounds to ask everyone what they were thankful for this year. It was heartwarming to hear all the gratitude shared by our residents.

From all of us at Wi******er Nursing Center, we wish you a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving! We’re a thankful bunch this year, and we’re so grateful for the wonderful community we have here.
