2026 Is Going to Be an Exceptional Year
Personal Responsibility Recovery is becoming a nonprofit intensive residential treatment center for individuals struggling with substance use and the co-occurring disorders that so often accompany addiction.
The past four years have been an incredible journey. We have developed a highly effective treatment program with strong outcomes, but from a marketing standpoint we simply cannot compete with corporate-driven treatment centers.
Over the next few months, Personal Responsibility Recovery will be acquired by a newly formed organization, PRTXRecovery, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Through PRRecovery.org, we will provide affordable residential treatment based on a sliding-scale fee structure. Our mission is to serve the uninsured, underinsured, and those facing the high deductibles that so often come with mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
More details will be shared in the coming weeks, but our commitment remains the same: to provide high-quality care with dignity, compassion, and respect to those who are ready to change their lives.

This organization does more for recovery than the coffee pot at a 12 step meeting. It is a great organization and can really use some support right now. Every little bit helps to show people young in their recovery journey that life is worth living...clean and sober.

Thousands complete treatment every year with hope for a new life. Within months, many fear sobriety means no more fun, excitement, or joy.

This fear becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Without proof otherwise, relapse rates remain high. Overdose deaths climb.

Lives are lost.

But here's what breaks our hearts most: These individuals already took the hardest step—getting sober. What they need isn't more education about substances. They need PROOF that life in recovery can be vibrant and fulfilling.

Several of our alumni and their families joined us for family day today. It is amazing to see how many lives are changed when an Addict seeks recovery. Seeing our alumni living life free from active addiction and enjoying life is incredibly uplifting for our amazing staff.
