JuneBug got to share her story today with the three first grade classes at Buffalo Hills Elementary in Kearney today. The JuneBug Finds Her Forever Home book was read to the children. A lot of love, smiles, and questions was seen and heard. Then they anxiously awaited to see her trick.
Some kids thought she needed to play a real piano. ( a little to big to travel with
I stated). But great idea. Asked if there was any other trick they thought she should learn this year? She needs to learn to sit, was one suggestion. We might be able to accomplish that in the summer.
We also learn stories as what animals they have such as dogs, cats and donkeys today. Sometimes you even learn grandparents have horses and have a pool table in the basement. 😉
One student even shared she’s moving to Africa. Now she really will have some stories the tell the other students.
Some of our other stops were Tractor Supply and she found a customer friend that even shared a horse treat she had in her pocket.
Bomgaars was another stop that she received lots of love and she was checking out the baby chicks in the tank that were for sale.

Now time for JuneBug to rest for her adventure.

It’s shedding season. I’m not sure how many layers of hair these horses have, but it’s a lot. Thank heavens for a shedding tool.
