Several visitors to the farm to see the horses Sunday
Little breezy that afternoon and JuneBug was pretty energetic until she got to the round pen to roll in the sand. She rolled and rolled and rolled again.
We are loving this beautiful weather.

Today’s adventure took us to Holdrege Memorial Homes. Didn’t get many photos this time.
The smiles are priceless. The giggles of her playing the piano were joyful. She found a comfortable soft carpet in one room and gave a show of rolling over.
Our visits start a lot of conversation from things of today and memories of pets and horses in the past. I love learning about what they’ve done in life.

Visited Bertrand school on Tuesday
First stop kindergarten.
So enjoy reading “JuneBug Finds Her Forever Home “ book. Then the real JuneBug 🐴 made her appearance to encourage children to read.
JuneBug performed a few of her favorite tricks.
Headed on to 2nd grade for some more smiles as we enter the room. Some kids were able to meet JuneBug for the first time.
Onto third grade where as soon as we entered the room JuneBug found the book shelf of children’s books. She pulled off a book about 🐪 camels. A lot of giggles that she took a book off the shelf.
Visited preschool where they were so calm and quiet for our visit. They sure took it all in and got to pet her soft coat of hair
Headed to the other end of the building to visit 5th grade. On the way the best greeting was “this made my day”.
Fifth graders loved on JuneBug as we made our short visit with them.
Days like this are top of the favorite things to do.

We were in our happy place. Gorgeous day in Nebraska at 67 degrees and sunshine with no wind. Doesn’t get better than that.
