From desk clerk to nurse practitioner, Dale Gustitus, CRNP, DNP, has spent more than 35 years caring for the community she calls home. 💙
Growing up in Shamokin as the youngest of 7, family and connection shaped everything for Dale, including her career path. While getting ready to attend Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing, she took a desk clerk job in the cardiac ICU, a decision that sparked a lifelong career in heart care. And today, she’s a member of the Geisinger electrophysiology team.
“I get to work with people I trust,” Dale says. “We have excellent physicians and an incredible team with a common goal: helping patients feel better.”
Thanks to Geisinger’s tuition reimbursement, Dale advanced her career while staying in the region she loves — a reflection of our commitment to keeping world-class care local.
