Good morning, Susquehanna Valley neighbors! At last, the temperatures seem to be easing up. At this time of year, you may be looking for ways to cut costs to keep your family moving forward and to plan for that much-deserved vacation. Our family would like to point out that we are actually helping you save that money by being an independent family practice clinic. Our office does that by not charging any hidden or unexpected fees. Independent practice use has its benefits. You'll want to keep that in mind for other healthcare services as well. Our family already uses independent offices wherever possible, and now we have another reason to continue doing so. Story below.

Our office, like your family and many other offices, needs to occasionally reorganize its finances to continue its mission of helping the greater Susquehanna Valley receive excellent care. Over the next few weeks, you will begin to notice a transition from our current EMR system. We are moving from Athena to Tebra. They both have all the desired options you've come to enjoy. Tebra, however, allows us to offer an easy-to-use online scheduling feature. Better yet, it has a "next available appointment" button to save you some time searching. We're hoping for no hiccups, but if there are any, please know that we will work to correct them. Change isn't always easy, but it's often needed. When fully operational, we will add a scheduling button (widget) to both our page and our traditional website. Another new feature is a post-visit request for you to rate your visit and provide feedback. This will hopefully continue to allow us to improve the services we offer you and your families.

While out clearing your porches, walks, and driveways, be sure to dress warm, take frequent breaks, and try to push the snow where possible to avoid the extra stress of lifting and throwing it. If you or a neighbor has a leaf blower, give it a try. This stuff blows away with ease! Most importantly, listen to your body. Stay safe.

We know that breaking events come with a lot of information. That's why we've gathered everything we know, all in one place, as Pennsylvania braces for a major winter storm.

Check out our website for all the deets. Together we get ready, and together we stay safe. 💪✅

Good morning, Susquehanna Valley! Can anyone tell us where 2025 went?! It could be the speeding of time as the aging process plays out, but we are hearing this question a lot. With all the daily stressors we are all experiencing, it's no wonder.

This leads me to another common question we hear. How should I approach a New Year's resolution? Those resolutions can and indeed should help reduce stress. It could be less screen time, or more whole foods and greens in your diet. Both great ideas.

Maybe it's more in the dreaded exercise realm. Well, if you, like many others, are aiming to be more active, we encourage you to have your annual physical completed to get a baseline of your health (free with most insurance plans). Second, we encourage you to start off small. You've likely heard the old adage of having to crawl before you walk, and walk before you run. It's not only true of infants. Give yourself the best chances of succeeding. Start with one extra flight of stairs above your regular routine, or one walk around your block. As that becomes the new norm, you can add to it. Remember, life should be a marathon, not a sprint! If the walks and roads are icy, walking around your home repeatedly can be a good starting point. If stretching to become more limber is your goal, again, start small and slow to avoid injury.

If you're trying to get away from the all-too-common gaslighting from your current healthcare provider, please give us a call. We would love to help.

What a great local community night! We hope everyone who wanted a flashing foam toy was able to get one. Surprisingly we still had some candy left. We always look forward to this night! Until next year. Thank you Berwick!!

Good evening, Berwick! It’s that time of year again for fall festivities, and more importantly, the Berwick Halloween parade!!!! Don’t forget to stop by our stand on October 22nd to get a free flashy light up foam stick thingy. Im not sure exactly what they’re called, but they have many different light patterns, and the kids love them…. The shopping cart sales guy, not so much.

We will also have candy, and may bring out our glow in the dark bubble blaster and blue light to fill the street. Also a fan favorite. We will be set up across the street from the Sunoco along the Market street route like the last three years.

You can also stop by the stand to meet the newest addition to the Personal Care family. Please join us in welcoming, Leanne Roush! Some of you may remember Leanne from Bob Gregor’s office some years ago.

Good morning, Susquehanna Valley. Where are my commonwealth of PA employees? You may have been notified that your health insurance plan is about to change to Aetna. Have no fear, we are one of a handful of Aetna providers in the region. That being said, when choosing your plan, you will want to see if we will be in or out of network, to avoid any surprise billing from landing in your mailbox. Open enrollment begins October 13th.

Good afternoon, Susquehanna Valley neighbors! Today is a day of change, sad goodbyes, and hopeful new beginnings. We want to extend our gratitude to Candy, who has been a valuable member of our team for over two years. Candy is beginning a new journey, and we wish her all the best. She will be missed.

Of course, one change requires another. So, later this month, you will be seeing a new face around the office. Although it may be a familiar face to anyone who has been around Berwick's healthcare settings for some time. Stay tuned...

In the meantime, be kind when in the office, as Christy and Verona will be picking up the work of the third position.
