New parents: take a deep breath. There’s no perfect baby bottle, just the one that works best for your baby (and your sanity). Here are a few tips to help you find the right fit:
🍼 Start with a slow-flow ni**le
🍼 Watch for signs your baby may need a faster or slower flow
🍼 Choose bottles that are easy to clean and assemble
Feeding success is all about comfort, pace, and following your baby’s cues. Adjust as needed, and trust yourself. And remember, if you need advice, we’re always here to help 💙

With cold & flu season in full swing, let's face it, your child is bound to need medicine, and it can feel overwhelming. The good news? A little knowledge and the right support can make it much easier.
💊 Ask your doctor or pharmacist what the medicine is for and how to give it
💊 Use the correct measuring device, never a kitchen spoon
💊 Watch for side effects and follow your child’s cues
💊 Store all medicines safely, up and away from little hands If your child struggles with taste, talk to your doctor or pharmacist about safe ways to help.

Your ability to think, learn, and remember clearly helps you navigate daily life, from managing money to staying socially engaged. While aging naturally brings changes in memory and thinking, many factors that support brain health are in your control. Staying mentally and physically active, managing heart health, and continuing social connections can help support cognitive function as you age. Always talk with your doctor about changes you notice in thinking or memory. Early support can make a difference.

Social media keeps teens connected, but too much screen time can impact confidence, communication skills, and emotional well-being. If you notice your teen is a little too connected to their phone, encourage face-to-face conversations, tech-free moments, and activities that build real-world confidence. Most importantly, stay present, model healthy habits, and keep the conversation open. Your connection matters more than any screen.

10–12 months is an exciting time of growth and discovery. From pulling up to stand and cruising along furniture to saying “mama” and exploring new foods, your baby is learning something new every day. Remember: milestones are guides, not deadlines. Every baby develops at their own pace (especially those born early), and there’s a wide range of what’s considered normal. If you ever have questions about your baby’s growth, feeding, sleep, or development, your pediatrician is your best resource 💙 Celebrate the little wins, trust your instincts, and enjoy this exciting stage, you’re doing great!

Many newborns develop rashes or birthmarks in their first days and months of life, and most are completely normal and harmless. From baby acne and cradle cap to diaper rash and common birthmarks, these bumps and spots often clear up on their own with simple home care. Knowing what’s common can help you feel reassured and recognize when something needs medical attention. While most newborn skin changes are mild, contact your doctor if a rash is paired with fever, poor feeding, unusual fussiness, swelling, blistering, or if your baby’s skin or eyes appear yellow. When in doubt, trust your instincts, we’re always here to help keep your baby healthy and comfortable. 👶💙

Cold weather is here! ❄️Dressing your family in layers helps keep everyone warm, comfortable, and safe all winter long. Start with a breathable base layer to keep moisture away from the skin, add insulating layers like fleece or sweaters for warmth, and finish with a weather-proof coat to block wind and rain. Don’t forget the essentials—hats, gloves or mittens, warm socks, and scarves, to protect hands, feet, ears, and faces from the cold. For little ones, remember that infants often need one extra layer than adults, but be mindful of overheating indoors. When heading out, warm and dry is the goal. Stay cozy this winter! 🧣

Tendons may be small, but they play a big role in how we move every day. Overuse, repetitive motions, or sudden strain can lead to tendon injuries that often develop quietly over time, and don’t always heal easily if ignored. Left untreated, these injuries can affect strength, stability, and everyday activities. The good news? Early care matters. Rest, proper evaluation, and the right movement at the right time can help prevent long-term problems and support healing. If you’re noticing pain, stiffness, swelling, or weakness, don’t push through it, listen to your body and make an appointment to get it checked out!
