Miles for Miles supports cancer care close to home

Thanks to the generosity of our community, the 2025 Miles for Miles Cancer Walk raised $10,581.60 for the Harrison County Cancer Transportation Fund, sponsored by the HCCH Foundation.

These funds help Harrison County residents with travel-related expenses during cancer treatment—because access to care shouldn’t depend on how far you have to drive.

Harrison County Community Hospital (HCCH) is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our Cardio-Pulmonary team for night shifts (Wednesday–Friday, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) at our Bethany, MO campus.

In this role, you’ll help deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients close to home—monitoring treatments, supporting clinical teams, and making a real difference when it matters most. New grads are welcome, and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.

🎄 A Very Merry Hometown Holiday is almost here! 🎄

This Saturday, Dec. 6, downtown Bethany turns into a Hallmark-worthy holiday celebration thanks to the Bethany Area Chamber of Commerce. From festive shopping and crafts to Santa photos, live performances, the Mayor’s Christmas tree lighting, and a lighted parade, there’s something for the whole family to enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving ❤️🦃

At Harrison County Community Hospital (HCCH), we’re especially grateful for the incredible giving spirit of our staff and community. This season reminds us that caring for our neighbors goes far beyond our hospital walls.

This year marks the 7th anniversary of Project Thanksgiving at HCCH. Over the past six years, this program has helped provide Thanksgiving meals to 625 families across Harrison County. In 2025, we’re honored to support 115 families in need with a full holiday meal.

This effort wouldn’t be possible without amazing partnerships:
• Hy-Vee donated all of the rolls
• The HCCH Foundation donated all of the hams
• HCCH staff generously donated side dishes and pies
• HCCH Auxiliary made a generous donation towards pies

Bringing maternal care closer to home 💙

We’re proud to partner with NKC Health to expand access to prenatal and postpartum care across our rural communities. This collaboration helps more families get the care they need close to home—without long travel times or gaps in support.

Our teams recently shared this work at a statewide conference with the Missouri Perinatal Quality Collaborative. We’re grateful for the leaders, providers, and nurses who continue to build stronger maternal care for families in northwest Missouri.
