This is my story. I am a thirty-seven-year-old Christian husband and father of four beautiful girls. I have always had high blood pressure from a young age. I didn't realize the impact it would have on me as an adult. I have always been a happy go lucky guy. I never was afraid to work for what I wanted but again I never imagined I would be where I am today. I have several to thank for that. I was born and raised in a small community called Jameson, Mo. I graduated from there 2006. Then went off to work a variety of jobs. In 2009 I met my wife, Hannah Johnson. We have been together for almost 15 years. Here I was an old country boy living my best life when God placed her in my life. Now, we have had our ups and downs like any couple. But we have definably had an adventure together. In 2012 we were blessed with our first daughter Ava. Then again in 2016 we were blessed with our second daughter Jada. Sadly, in 2017 we experienced what it was like to lose a baby. We weren't prepared to what God had planned but again he blessed us with a baby girl Willow in 2018. After a few years we decided our family wasn't complete, so we added another baby girl in 2023 named Tinley. I thank the big man upstairs for all the blessing I have been given. Like I mentioned before I have never been afraid to work. I have worked at a local hog farm since 2015. We have chosen Bethany as our home to raise our family. A few years ago, I found out I had kidney disease. It progressed quickly and almost a year ago I was told I would need a kidney transplant. I was put on dialysis last August and had to start a weight loss journey. I am currently doing dialysis three times a week and working a full-time job. As my wife, who is a teacher, is a stay-at-home mother, because we have a ten-month-old baby girl, I am the sole bread winner for my family. I have almost completed my weight loss goal and will be put on transplant list very soon. I am a proud man, but I realized that I need to ask others for help. Once a kidney match is found I will have to be off work. My journey has humbled me and brought me closer to God and that is why I am able to ask for help.
