Exciting news for 2025!

People are sharing all about menopause!!!!

I have some thoughts as to why Peter Attia podcast went so viral and was so well received.

It’s not just bc I’m amazing (we all are)

I get lots of push back and negative stuff in social.

But this was totally different.

Almost no public hate at all.

Why?

I have a new term.

Broproval

When bros approve.

the bro loudly supported me and agreed with me. But also he says that he does this work too. And he respected me.

This has Made a HUGE impact.

And there’s a big lesson here

I saw this happen when male urologists supported and started prescribing the vaginal estrogen use on twitter.

When bros step up. The world changes.

Peter Attia.

Add this to things that weren’t on my bingo card for this week.

calling me out by name and showing bipartisan support for something that is truly bipartisan.

The work is only beginning.

These warning labels made it so that your doctors and clinicians don’t know how to talk about hormones or even write prescriptions. BUT THEY CAN LEARN

Now we roll up our sleeves.

Tonight is the premiere of a documentary by the amazing and

It’s all about female libido and the story behind why women’s s*xual health is ignored in medicine today.

I am so excited that I got to be part of it and my patients bravely stepped up to tell their stories

You can stream this from home from Nov 16-30

11 years later.

Happy Anniversary to my co-pilot on this mission. I am the luckiest person I know.

Fun fact: In 2015 when I got married I was in my urology residency training and took the urology in service exam the morning of my wedding.

I studied like crazy for months and I got 98th percentile after getting a very low score the year below. Hard work pays off.

This week I had a very different microphone and got to speak out loudly on a national stage about the boxed label getting removed from estrogen products after decades of advocacy. Hard work pays off.

Someone one said. How you do one thing is how you do everything.

Want to learn how to prescribe vaginal hormones?

Vaginal Hormones:
- prevent urinary tract infections, sepsis and death
- fix urinary frequency, urgency, and leakage
- they help lubrication, pain with s*x and satisfaction
- they have NEVER been shown to cause cancer of any kind or blood clots

As of 2025 there are now guidelines in place to teach out how and why

and I sat down with the FDA Commissioner Marty Makary () to discuss hormone therapy and menopause.

We talked about what it really means to work together across medicine, research, and policy to improve menopause care and empower women with the information they deserve. Collaboration is essential if we’re going to move the needle on women’s health.

Boxed labels are meant for life threatening warnings.

Nuance goes in the rest of the label.
