Encouragement!
This rings true and so is the opposite! In my house, we limit cakes and sweets for special occasions and usually do a sweet thing once a week for our day off (Sabbath Rest!!) We had birthdays and celebrations last week. We had two cakes in our fridge, and inevitably, every night until that cake was gone, I found a small reason to have another piece!
On the other hand, if there is a head of kale lingering in the fridge, you really should put that in a meal plan or it may wilt on you.
