Whether you are a survivor of a tough season, a career setback, or a personal loss, the weight of "what happened" can make you feel stuck in place. We’ve all felt like our past mistakes or traumas have anchored us to the ground. But Dr. Sharon and the BWIO community want you to remember: "Your path isn't defined by where you’ve been, but by the strength of your next step."

Taking a "New Stride" means choosing to move forward even when you’re still healing. It’s about recognizing that your resilience is your superpower. Regardless of your age or gender, you have the authority to decide that today is a fresh start. True beauty—inside and out—is found in the courage to keep walking toward the life you deserve.

Who said you have to be "old" to be wise, or "young" to be inspired?

We often dismiss the young as inexperienced or the elderly as out of touch. But when we stop listening, we stop growing. The truth is, wisdom has no age limit. Whether you are a man in his 50s, a teen navigating high school, or a grandmother sharing her story, there is a goldmine of insight within you. Teens can teach us about passion and new perspectives, while our elders teach us about resilience and history.

Dr. Sharon Allison and the BWIO community believe that beauty is a lifelong evolution. By valuing the voices of every generation, we create a more connected and empowered world.
