The leap to independent practice doesn't have to be as daunting as it seems. Meet Umar Bowers, MD, who left a large health system in 2021 to join Aledade and open Dawson Med Primary and Urgent Care in North Carolina, gaining the flexibility to control his schedule, decision-making and patient care approach.
