January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, a time to pause and check in on our health.

Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers. HPV vaccination and regular screenings play an important role in prevention. Because early stages do not always come with symptoms, routine checkups matter.

Caring for your health goes beyond prevention. Having emotional support, space, and connection can make a meaningful difference, especially if cancer ever becomes part of your story. Hope Connections offers free programs for anyone impacted by cancer.

Awareness starts with information, care, and support.

Start where you are.

If you’re beginning this year gently, slowly, or one day at a time… your pace is valid.

There’s no “right” way to begin a new year, only the way that feels possible right now.

When cancer touches your life, the holidays can feel different, whether you’re living with it or caring for someone you love.

This season doesn’t need to look a certain way to be meaningful.
Care, compassion, and understanding matter for yourself and for each other.

If meditation feels intimidating, you’re not alone.
It doesn’t have to be silent, still, or perfect.

At Hope Connections, meditation can take many forms. Through programs like Guided Meditation, Relaxation & Tranquility, Yin & Restorative Yoga, and Connecting with Nature, we offer supportive mind-body classes designed to help reduce stress and create moments of calm for people impacted by cancer.

This World Meditation Day, we invite you to explore these offerings and see what feels right for you.
All programs are offered at no cost.

We are deeply grateful to and the EagleBank Foundation for their continued partnership and generous support of Hope Connections for Cancer Support for more than 15 years. We are continually inspired by their commitment to strengthening our community through meaningful nonprofit partnerships. This contribution is made possible by the Foundation's annual Fight Against Cancer Golf Tournament, which raises critical funds for hospitals and organizations supporting those affected by cancer.

Pictured here is Hope Connections Board Member and EagleBank employee, Kevin Gaughan, presenting this year’s check to our President & CEO, Mary K. McCusker. Special shout out to our friend Joe Clarke, for his dedicated leadership and guidance throughout the years. Thank you, EagleBank, for making such a lasting impact and for helping us continue providing free programs and support for those facing cancer.
