🩸 Walter Reed roll call…

If your blood type is O, we’d love a moment of your time (and one rolled-up sleeve).

The Armed Services Blood Program is collecting donations to help keep lifesaving blood ready for service members, families, retirees, and patients across the Military Health System. It’s a simple way to do something meaningful while you’re already on campus.

📅 March 24 – April 3
🕰️ 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
📍 Blood Donation Center, Bldg. 9, Level 1
📞 Schedule: (301) 295-2104 | Walk-ins welcome

Don’t know your blood type? No problem, come by anyway and we’ll take care of the rest.

Note: If you donated during the March 3-13 drive, you’ll be eligible again starting May 8.

A small poke. A big impact. ❤️

Did you know that about 86% of children in the United States received a well-child visit in the past year? That means too many still miss essential preventive care.

Well-child visits keep immunizations up to date, monitor growth and development, and help providers identify concerns early when intervention makes the greatest impact.

Let’s close the gap and aim for 100%. Review your child’s visit timeline and contact your clinic today to schedule their well-child appointment.

When a caregiver becomes a patient during the birth of their child, perspective changes. One Walter Reed family experienced that role reversal firsthand, gaining new appreciation for care from the other side.

"Their care both with the high-risk prenatal care and with the delivery itself was incredible. Being on the other side as a patient was really reassuring." - U.S. Army Capt. (Dr.) Brian Graziose, a fellow in Walter Reed’s NICU
