The renovation project at Pharmacy America (Bldg. 19) has encountered a weather-related delay and will now be extended through February 9.

To ensure you still have access to the care you need, our pharmacy teams are stationed at the following locations to help navigate services:
• Lobby of Bldg. 19
• General Internal Medicine Service
• Pediatric Primary Care Clinic
• Hours: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday

Please Note: Pharmacy Arrowhead, Arrowhead ScriptCenter, NEX ScriptCenter, and the Drive-Thru Pick-Up Trailer are operating as usual.

We’ve attached a map with directions from Bldg. 19 to Bldg. 9. Please be aware this is a lengthy walk. If you require mobility assistance, transport is available:

📌 21JAN26 - MASK GUIDANCE ADVISORY 😷

Due to increased respiratory illness activity in Maryland, Walter Reed has implemented an updated masking requirement effective immediately.

What this means for your visit:
- Medical masks are required for all staff and visitors in patient treatment areas.
- Patients with respiratory symptoms may be isolated as appropriate.
- These precautions follow state and CDC guidance and will remain in place until hospitalization rates decline.

Due to the winter storm and hazardous travel conditions, Walter Reed will open on Wednesday, January 28 at 9 a.m. to allow safer travel. Please use caution when coming to the hospital, as roads may be icy. Surgeries will proceed as planned. Appointments before 9 a.m. are canceled.
