Dr. Christopher Fowler, Mattie Blake’s Pulmonologist has been with us since the beginning of everything, even before Mattie was so sick 2 years ago, with the Necrotizing Pneumonia that ate away part of Mattie’s left lung.. With that being said we trust him so much.

During our time in Washington D.C. at the NIH Mattie had a Chest CT done to see view her lungs, and the progress, from the last couple of years since Jan. 2024..

I made sure Dr. Fowler also received that report, and the Chest CT images as soon as he could, so he could also review them.

If you are unfamiliar, to explain a little more, as young as Mattie is, has tremendously been in her favor, for her lungs to heal and regenerate, although there is some scaring, these specialist watch these places.

Dr. Fowler’s response ..
“Yes the images are in the system now and they look so much better!”

God is so good, he is so faithful, our girl is a walking miracle. Our faith is increased. Today’s a good day. Praise The Lord Jesus.

𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙖!.. with special permission from her family, I wanted to share this incredible opportunity the Lord has blessed us with..

Thousands of miles away in São Paulo, Brazil a family found Mattie Blake’s Story and reached out to us.. Helena who is also 2 years old was recently diagnosed with the EXACT genetic condition as Mattie Blake. STAT3 Job Syndrome..

These girls share the same exact gene mutation.
As you know their condition is extremely rare, 1 in 1 million.

Since we became in touch we have had the opportunity to answer so many questions for Helena’s family, connect them to other families with children with Job Syndrome, and connect them with the world specialists Mattie Blake sees in Washington D.C.

Helena’s family has shared with us that so far they have not found anyone else in Brazil with STAT3 Job Syndrome..

We have so blessed to connect with a few families in the United States since September last year.. to name a few states Alabama, California, Indiana, Virginia, and Texas.. I am so thankful for these families. Being connected with them is like a little family of direct support to each other.

Children with Job’s can have a striking resemblance as their facial structure is a characteristic of their condition. In fact, as soon as I sent our oldest son a picture of Helena his response was “She looks just like her at a glance”..

We never will know the “whys” .. and I don’t think it’s important that we do.. what I do think is important is that we share what the Lord Jesus is doing…And we make him known through every detail. These girls condition itself is named after someone in the Bible. Their testimonies are incredible..

I’m so thankful for these precious angels who are 1 in a million. The Lord knew we would fight for them to the ends of the Earth .. and give them the best chance. I am so thankful for our medical team near and far who continue to improve the quality of life for our girls. I’m thankful the Lord chose me to be Mattie Blake’s Mommy. And I will continue to fulfill this purpose he has set before me.

Since Mattie Blake’s transplant was called off we have intentionally enjoyed every moment doing all the fun 2 year old things 🫶🏼 She is doing incredible!
The Lord has big plans for you Mattie Blake. I am so thankful God chose me to be your Mom!

Quick update! Mattie Blake is doing wonderful!
We are continuing to work with the specialist at the NIH in Maryland and Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham to get a clearer picture of the newer findings. Everything we have seen so far has been so encouraging! Praise The Lord! We are so thankful for our doctors near and far who are working so hard for our girl 🫶🏼🩷 Thank you Lord Jesus for your protection! And thank you all for continuing to pray for our baby girl!

𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬?
