During your training, pay attention to everything. The technique, the instrument handling, the patient care, and the decision-making. This is the one time you get to stand beside experienced surgeons and learn from every detail. These experiences won’t come around again in the same way. This 33-year-old woman came in with a clear goal to improve her profile while maintaining the character of her nose. Preserving her heritage and keeping a softly rounded tip were important parts of her surgical plan.

Her eyes were aging her, but the goal was never to change how she looked. ✨

At her consultation, we discussed how an upper blepharoplasty could rejuvenate her naturally beautiful features and how transformational that would be. She’s always had heavy upper eyelids, even as a child, so the plan was simple: refresh, not change.

These photos were taken just 6 days after surgery, when her stitches were removed. There is still some swelling, and the bruising is fading to yellow, but you can already see a brighter, more youthful appearance. The best part? Her results will continue to improve as healing progresses, and she’ll be back to wearing eye makeup in just a few days.

There’s nothing better than the moment the cast comes off! 👃✨

This patient came in because his nose had gradually changed with age. He had always had a droopy tip and some crookedness, and even though he previously had a septoplasty to help his breathing, he still wasn’t happy with how his nose looked in photos. He simply wanted something that looked natural and fit his face better.

At reveal, you can see the improvement right away. The nasal bridge is straighter, the droopy tip is lifted, and when he smiles, the tip no longer hides his upper lip from the front view. From the profile, the hooked appearance is softened, so the nose just looks normal. There is still swelling and some bruising (completely normal at this stage), and the nose is taped afterwards to help control rebound swelling. This is only the one-week stage of healing, not the final result, so stay tuned as things continue to refine.
