How to do it:
• Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet wider than hip-width
• Place your hands behind you for support
• Gently let both knees fall to one side
• Return to center, then let them fall to the other side
• Move side to side in a slow, relaxed rhythm—like windshield wipers

Breathing tip:
Take a slow breath in as you come back to center, and exhale as your knees fall to each side. Let your body soften rather than forcing the movement.

Why it can help:
• Encourages hip mobility and rotation
• Helps reduce unnecessary tension around the pelvis
• Supports comfort and ease with everyday movement and intimacy.

How often:
Try for 1–2 minutes, once or twice a day, or whenever you want to gently loosen up.

Leaking isn’t something you just “accept.” Pelvic floor physical therapy helps treat the root cause-NOT just manage symptoms.
Save this and message me if this sounds familiar.

Pelvic floor progress isn’t something you always see.
It’s felt in confidence, comfort, and control.

And it’s worth celebrating.

Testosterone isn’t only a “male hormone.” Women need it too — especially for **pelvic floor strength + sexual vitality**.
Healthy testosterone supports:
💪 pelvic floor contraction + power
⚡ muscle tone + strength gains
🔥 libido + arousal
✨ energy + confidence
🧠 motivation + mood

Low testosterone can show up as:
⬇️ weak pelvic activation
🍑 glute and core weakness
🥀 decreased desire + arousal
🛏️ fatigue
🧠 low drive / “blah” feeling
⬇️ slower muscle recovery

Testosterone is especially important in **postpartum and menopause** when natural levels can drop. Pelvic floor strength isn’t only about Kegels — **hormones matter.** If you’re working hard but feeling weak, drained, or “disconnected” from your body — hormonal support may be part of the puzzle. Consult your obgyn and ask if you are a candidate for hormone replacement therapy.

Meet **progesterone** — the calming hormone that helps your nervous system and pelvic floor relax.

Progesterone helps:
🌿 calm pelvic nervous system tone
🫁 support diaphragmatic breathing
🧠 reduce anxiety + fight-or-flight
🩸 regulate pelvic blood flow.

When progesterone dips (late luteal phase, postpartum, perimenopause), you might feel:
😣 pelvic tightness or heaviness
🚽 constipation (progesterone slows digestion)
💨 bloating + pressure
😵‍💫 anxiety + pelvic tension
💭 difficulty relaxing pelvic muscles

Progesterone and the pelvic floor work together. When one struggles, the other can hold more tension. **Nervous system care is pelvic floor care.**

Breathwork, gentle movement, low-stim routines in the evenings. And if constipation or pelvic tension are flaring around your cycle — you’re not alone, and there are tools to support you.

Let’s talk estrogen — the hormone that keeps your pelvic floor feeling supported, supple, and strong.
When estrogen is steady, pelvic tissues stay:
✨ well-hydrated
✨ elastic + cushioned
✨ supported by blood flow
✨ responsive during intimacy
When estrogen drops (postpartum, breastfeeding, peri/menopause)… you may notice:
💧 vaginal dryness or itching
🔥 burning or irritation
🌬️ urinary urgency or frequency
🚽 constipation from tight pelvic floor
💀 pain with in*******se
⬇️ decreased pelvic muscle tone + support

Estrogen isn’t just for reproduction — it impacts pelvic muscle health, bladder function, and sexual comfort.
If you’re experiencing these changes, it’s not in your head.

Pelvic PT + vaginal moisturizer/lubrication + (when appropriate) topical estrogen can be incredibly helpful.
Your pelvic floor can feel healthy and supported again. 🤍
