We are an affiliate of the nation's largest grassroots organization dedicated to helping individuals and families living with a serious mental health condition. We offer nationally-developed education and support programs for individuals and families living with a serious mental health condition. Our free programs are led by trained volunteers who have lived experience. Participants gain communication and problem-solving skills and support. National studies show participants gain a greater understanding of mental health conditions, cope much better, worry less, and feel newly empowered to advocate for better treatment and services. Our focus is bipolar disorder, major depression, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, panic disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, co-occuring brain disorders and addictive disorders. We work cooperatively with health care and social work providers to fill an information gap for families not met elsewhere. We do not provide counseling, case management or legal aid. We are located at inside CASI - the Center for Active Seniors at at 1035 West Kimberly Road, Davenport, IA 52806. Our office hours are 10 a.m. Monday through Friday. 563-386-7477 Ext. 266.
