Cody Jr. had his first chiropractic visit yesterday for colic and fussiness. This sweet guy didn’t hardly ever let mom put him down and after his adjustment, he slept for THREE HOURS on his own in the bassinet!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Today is World Mental Health Day 🧠 Do something to make your mental health a priority!

Your thoughts are one of the three pieces that can create misalignments within your body, meaning that your mental health can translate into physical pain or discomfort! Getting adjusted not only makes your body feel better, but can also boost your mood! I sure do love giving attitude adjustments 😝

Can you guess one of the absolute WORST shoes for your feet?? That’s right, it’s your beloved Crocs 😩

Crocs have little to no arch or ankle support, which can lead to things like tripping, ankle instability, hammertoes, bunions, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and flattened feet.

This is especially detrimental to the developing feet of a child. Their loose fit and lack of support can permanently alter a child’s walking patterns and gait. Development of flattened arches can lead to instability in your hips and lower extremities, which eventually translates into your lower back and spine in the future.

Take a look at your shoe choices! Do they have proper arch support?? If not, do you suffer from chronic lower back pain?! Maybe knee or ankle pain?! The correlation is there!

We offer customized Foot Levelers Orthotics in our office to help create the proper support in all THREE arches in your foot! Let us know if you want to have your feet scanned after your next adjustment!

I will be back from maternity leave beginning October 13!

My hours will remain the same, however I will only be in the office EVERY OTHER WEEK thru the end of the year!

People are still surprised to hear that I adjust babies, but there is NO age requirement for chiropractic care! My youngest patient ever is my own daughter, and my oldest patient is currently around 90 years old!

I adjusted Blair when she was just a couple hours old and she fell fast asleep right after! Birth is traumatic for an infant, no matter how well the process goes, so having their spine checked afterwards is SO important!

Little miss Blair had her first craniosacral therapy session at The Wellness Nook yesterday and did AMAZING! She slept right thru the whole thing and her demeanor was so calm afterwards!

I have recommended Meagan to many of my patients, especially for babies who had traumatic births or were c-sections! Although Blair’s birth wasn’t either of those things, I took her because she wasn’t pooping regularly, was getting the hiccups a lot, and was born with a tongue tie, so I knew there was some residual tension in her body left from birth.

Our sweet girl, Blair Abigail, joined our family at 12:08 pm on Friday August 15! We are so in love 💗💗🥺

Had to get one last photo before our babes come! Kylie and I found out we were pregnant right around the same time!

It’s been so fun getting to take care of one of my friends and having our babies due just a few days apart! Cant wait to find out what you’re having!
