Today we honor Mr. John, who proudly served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. During his service, he was stationed at Fort McClellan, Alabama with the Chemical Corps, where he dedicated his time and skills to several vital roles. His primary duties included driving trucks in the motor pool and serving as a Jeep driver, ensuring transportation needs were met with reliability and precision.

One of Mr. John’s favorite memories from his service was the unforgettable experience of operating the flame blower, a moment that left a lasting impression on him.

Throughout his time in the Army, Mr. John learned many valuable lessons, but one that stands out most is the importance of being able to take orders, a skill that shaped his discipline, teamwork, and leadership for years to come.

We thank Mr. John for his dedication, bravery, and service to our country.
