We’re honored to recognize Johnnie, who proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970.
During his service, Johnnie was first stationed in Virginia, where he worked as an Electrician, ensuring that essential systems and equipment stayed powered and operational. He later continued his service in Alaska, where he took on a new role providing security.
One of Johnnie’s most memorable experiences came during the 1967 flood in Fairbanks, Alaska, when he joined in efforts to help the local community recover and rebuild. His willingness to lend a hand in a time of crisis reflects the compassion, resilience, and sense of duty that define our nation’s veterans.
