☀️ Did you know that changes in daylight that can affect mood, sleep, and energy? Try to get natural light early in the day. Open curtains, sit near a window, or spend a few minutes outside when possible.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Winter's shorter days and less sunlight can trigger depression, affecting serotonin and melatonin levels, so light exposure and vitamin D are important.
⭐️ MENTAL HEALTH TIP OF THE MONTH ⭐️ Seasonal changes can quietly affect your mood, energy, and motivation. Shorter days or extreme weather may leave you feeling low, restless, or disconnected—and that’s more common than you think.
⚓️ Create a small daily “anchor.” Choose one simple habit you do at the same time each day, like a morning stretch, a walk outside, journaling, or a consistent bedtime routine. Anchors provide stability when external conditions change and help regulate your mood and sleep.
☀️ Bonus: Get natural light whenever possible, even if it’s just a few minutes outdoors, and stay connected with others—seasonal shifts are easier to manage when you’re not doing it alone.
❄️ Due to unsafe road conditions following the recent snow, our office will be closed today for the safety of our clients and staff. We will resume normal business hours as soon as conditions improve.
Stay safe & Enjoy!
