The Evo-Lyft involves accessing the face’s “deep plane” area and lifting that tissue vertically, effectively combating the vector of gravity while simultaneously preserving the surrounding surface of the skin. The skin and underlying tissue are then lifted, but done so with minimal separation of the layers, which is known as a preservation technique. (Compare that to a traditional facelift in which only the skin itself is being stretched and pulled, which results in the “wind tunnel” look.). Other benefits of the Evo-Lyft include less swelling and bruising, shorter healing times, and it allows the surgeon to perform other related procedures at the same time, including laser and microneedling.
