A big thank you to ALCON for giving me a sneak peak and letting me be the first in the US, and help fine tune their newest and best cataract removal unit (UNITY) before its worldwide launch later this year. This machine will make eye surgery easier and faster. I will be one of the first in the world to get it and use in my patients soon. Also another first… I got to implant a bunch of new panoptix Pro lenses before their market launch soon. This is the newest trifocal lens implant in the world that allows patients to see distance and near without glasses. The eye surgery world is expanding very fast and I’m happy to be at the forefront of it all.

Been meaning to post these videos of the first few implants in the United States of the BL Envy trifocal lens. So happy we brought these into market. These lenses allow patients to see far and near without glasses or contacts after surgery. No more reading glasses… ever. I started teaching this surgery around the world 19 years ago and it’s so much better now. Love what I do

Thank you again to Bausch and Lomb for letting me have some fun with the aspire lens and being one of the first in the US to implant it before their full launch. This lens will give excellent distance and intermediate vision without halos. Look forward to implanting many more. My job is fun! And thank you to my team for being the best!

Thank you to Bausch and Lomb for asking me to moderate and host their west coast surgical residency training meeting. It was such a thrill performing live surgery in front of everyone, and teaching the newest surgical techniques in the world. Thank you to all my fellow speakers. The residents had a fantastic time. Looking forward to Vegas and next year year again in BH!
