I want to extend my sincere thanks to Rex Wilder for his extraordinary leadership as Board Chair. As co-founder of the Briskin | Wilder Welcome Center, Rex helped bring to life a vision rooted in compassion, access, and clarity for those seeking mental health care. The Briskin | Wilder Welcome Center—both a program and a place within Maple Counseling—reflects his deep commitment to ensuring individuals and families are met with guidance, dignity, and support from their very first point of contact.

The evening was a powerful reminder of what compassion can do when a community comes together. Maple Counseling CEO Varina Bleil spoke about the emotional toll the recent LA fires have taken:

“We’ve all witnessed the wildfires that devastated communities and separated neighbors from neighbors—it’s left a deep emotional scar for many people.”
