When a dark spot appeared under his toenail, Marley attributed it to a soccer injury. However, the spot under his nail was acral lentiginous melanoma (ALM), a rare, aggressive form of skin cancer. ⁠He was not treated, the cancer spread and caused his untimely death.

The weather outside can get frightful during winter even if you live in a warmer climate such as California. Tips:
Use only gentle cleansers such as Dove unscented

Do not scrub or exfoliate skin and avoid wool, fragrance and/or constrictive clothing.
After shower/bath, step out of tub and pat dry. While still damp apply TKC Body Oil mixed with TKC Smooth Body moisturizer. Your skin will thank you!

Pro Tip:
One or Two pumps of TKC Body Oil mixed with TKC Smooth. Massage a small amount while your skin is damp after stepping out of shower (never apply oil while still in shower/tub as you may slip). Apply at least twice a day.

The Pulsed Dye Laser uses liquid dye to produce yellow laser light. Delivered in short flashes, the light is absorbed by hemoglobin which is the substance that is responsible for all forms of abnormal facial redness. This laser is meant to treat anything lesions that are red or diffuse redness. Since the skin’s surface is left undamaged, pulsed dye laser treatment is safe and requires no time for healing after treatment.

Additionally, when the pulsed dye laser machine discharges onto the skin surface, heat is produced within the skin’s deeper layers. This heat is effective at stimulating new collagen growth.

The Pulsed Dye Laser is one of our most highly effective Rosacea treatments; it is also used to repair sun-damaged skin, as a spider vein treatment, as a treatment for wrinkles, birthmarks, hemangiomas, and as a stretch mark laser treatment.

The Pulsed Dye Laser and the IPL machine are also used for photodynamic therapy, a dramatic rejuvenation technique that employs a unique light-sensitizing agent. Results approach those of dermabrasion or deep peeling without the associated risks and downtime.
