This lovely patient is so happy with her face and necklift results because you can't see the scars and she's feeling more youthful and refreshed.

Recovering from facelift surgery is accomplished in stages. The first stage lasts about 14 days and after this, most patients can return to work. Allowing 3 weeks for this phase will allow more time for the swelling and any bruising to subside.

You can resume normal activities after about 3 weeks. Remember, each patient heals at a different rate and at times recovery may seem to be slow. It can take up to a year to achieve the full result of a face lift.

Growing up in Los Angeles, Dr. Torkian's childhood dream was to become a doctor who helps to change the lives of people in his community. Now Dr. Torkian is a rhinoplasty (nose job) and facelift specialist at the elite Lasky Clinic in Beverly Hills. Dr. Torkian continues to work as a part of a prestigious group of educators in the field of facial plastic surgery at the University of California Irvine to advance the art and science of facial plastic surgery.
