Can you benefit from PRP...

Plate Rich Plasma (PRP) is the part of your whole blood that contains growth factors, healing agents, collagen building proteins, and anti-inflammatory precursors.

We can harness PRP for its REGENERATIVE properties to improve the tone, texture, scars, thickness, pigmentation, and tightness of skin. We can also use it to regrow hair and prevent hair from falling (alopecia).

PRP is obtained by drawing your blood, adding the necessary activating agents, and then removing the straw-colored component of the spun blood (see below).

It can then be injected into the skin/scalp or applied transcutaneously via needling.

A Series of PRP sessions via injection or needling will...

1: Improve tone and pigmentation
PRP can be used to even out the skin tone and improve sun damage. It can be used as an adjunct to treat melasma.

2: Improve fine lines

5. Help grow hair on the scalp
PRP has a long track record of safely growing hair on the scalp. According to studies, it has an overall response rate of 70% to maintain or grow hair in both men and women. We often combine this with other treatments/medications for hair loss.

HOW DO WE GET PRP INTO THE SKIN?

Traditional Injection with a 30G needle into skin or scalp.
We can mix the PRP with collagen builders to boost results. It can be injected into the skin ANYWHERE on the body.

Microneedling- transcutaneous delivery of PRP.
We can mix the PRP with additional agents such as: botox, hyaluronic acid (collagen growth), and transexamic acid (pigmentation control).

AQUAGOLD epidermal only transcutaneous delivery.
A device with very fine and short needles for epidermal delivery only.
This is often used before major events to make the face glow with minimal downtime (4-6 hours of redness after the procedure).

We’ve added some amazing IV’s to the practice. I believe in treating aging from all dimensions; thus, we integrated IV therapy into patients treatment regimens. Several protocols are available. One of the more popular ones is the administration of NAD+ can get an IV in with her eyes closed and our patients love her. #90210

Don’t discount the befits of MICRONEEDLING. When done properly and with the right cocktail of ingredients it can have a tremendous impact on skin. The concept here is to understand that needling allows for direct access to the dermis. Thus, the ingredients we use during the needling process can treat skin conditions.

I reserve 1-2 days per month to train other doctors how to safely and effectively perform procedures. In this example, I was in Iowa teaching my signature hyperdilute radiesse injection technique. For this patient I dropped the strength of the TCA CROSS solution from 100% to 80%. I like to use 100% on Skin types 1 and 2 and 80% on Skin types 3 and 4. I generally avoid this procedure on Skin types 5 and 6 as there is a risk of hypopigmentation.

Up close and personal: acne scar revision. 100% TCA cross was performed for icepick scars followed by C02 laser to the whole area. Subcision also performed using an 18G cannula.

TCA 30% blue peel for tightening and sun spots. Chemical peels especially deeper ones aren't done with as much frequency anymore because they are very complicated to perform. Not every patient will be a laser candidate so a peel is often a good alternative. Here I am checking to ensure correct depth of the peel.
