Physical activity keeps your heart strong and supports maintaining a healthy weight.

Find exercises and workout routines you enjoy and be creative to make them fun.

Make tea time part of your daily routine. Unsweetened black and green teas contain flavonoids, which can help support blood flow and ultimately reduce the overall risk of heart disease.

A good night's rest helps you stay at a healthy weight and ensures that you have energy to keep up with your heart-healthy lifestyle.

That tension in your shoulders or that afternoon crash? It’s not random. Your body is incredibly wise—and it’s always adapting.

In Integrative Medicine, we view symptoms as guides, not annoyances. We use testing, nutrition, and lifestyle support to figure out why your body is off balance—and how to restore it.

Let’s decode what your body’s been trying to say.

Integrative Medicine goes beyond managing symptoms. It focuses on identifying underlying imbalances that affect how the body functions over time.

For example, chronic pain may involve inflammation, stress, and nervous system dysregulation. Digestive issues may reflect hormone or immune imbalances. Integrative care addresses these connections instead of treating each symptom in isolation.

This approach allows for more personalized, thoughtful, and sustainable healing.

In Asian Medicine, cravings aren’t “bad”—they’re messages.
Your body often craves the flavor associated with the organ system that needs support.

Craving sour foods? Your liver may need grounding.
Reaching for something sweet? Your spleen may be asking for nourishment.
Want spicy, pungent foods? Your lungs may need circulation support.

Pay attention… your cravings are clues.

Integrative Medicine is about so much more than just food.

While nutrition is a cornerstone of integrative medicine, it’s not the whole story. We also consider:

🧘 Mental and emotional well-being
💤 Sleep quality
🏃 Movement and exercise
🌿 Environmental factors
🧬 Genetic predispositions

💡 Example: A patient dealing with anxiety not only adjusted their diet but also implemented stress management techniques and improved their sleep habits — leading to calmer, more balanced days.

Integrative medicine treats the whole you.

We are all pretty germophobic right now. But, one thing we can all agree on as a hotbed for the spread of germs is public bathrooms—and many of us are selective about what we will and won't touch when we're in one. The problem is that we've been getting it all wrong: A 2011 study in the journal PLOS One found that if after washing your hands, you use them to open the door, you have a higher risk of contamination than if you flush the toilet with your bare fingers. Another shocker from the study? The toilet floor often has fewer germs than the soap dispenser!

In Asian Medicine, fertility is viewed as a reflection of overall balance in the body. When the nervous system, hormones, digestion, and emotional health are supported, the body is better able to do what it was designed to do.

Acupuncture helps improve circulation to the reproductive organs, regulate the menstrual cycle, and calm the nervous system. Herbal medicine works internally to nourish the body, support hormonal balance, and strengthen the foundation needed for healthy conception.

Fertility care is not just about timing — it’s about creating balance and resilience from the inside out.

Many people come to us after being told “everything looks normal,” even though they still feel unwell.

We know how frustrating that can be.

Our team goes deeper — evaluating gut health, inflammation, nutrient status, toxins, stress, and more to uncover what standard labs may miss.

✨ Your symptoms are real.
✨ Your healing has a path.

If you work in an office setting, make sure your chair is at a height where your knees are at a 90 degree angle, your feet can rest flat on the floor, and you have proper lower back support. Make sure to stand up, stretch and take a quick walk several times a day to keep from getting stiff or causing injury. If your back is screaming at you, it may be time for an adjustment.
