🌴🎥 Today I begin perhaps the most important journey of my artistic life. "Artificial Emotion" is not just a song — it is a mirror, a lament, a fierce confrontation with the way we’ve allowed our feelings to be filtered through glass screens and hollow hearts. To honour that, I am not only performing it, but directing the music video myself, guided by a spoken word poem I wrote in a single sleepless night — a poem that, I believe, holds the rawest essence of our modern condition.

I needed a setting that could hold such contradictions — paradise and fracture, nature and artifice. That place is Martinique.

Two weeks. Dozens of crew. Beautiful, courageous actors who embody both muse and metaphor. Together, we will attempt to capture the delicate tension between the real and the unreal.

The work will be grueling.
But true emotion demands nothing less.

Have started working on my new song.

Just before dawn this morning, I went to the forest with my photographer to gather wild 🍄

📸✨ Just a low-key morning in my little routine 😌💦🥕🏃‍♂️

Not trying to inspire anyone or anything (lol who even am I? 🙈), but I accidentally woke at 3:17am again. My body just knows.

Started with 45 minutes of blindfolded ice cube fi*****ng in sauna 🔥🧊 (Don't knock it till you've sobbed in it.)

Then floated into a light 2-hour meditation, accompanied by the gentle sound of my own music. Because It's not about the music, it's about holding space for the silence between the notes. 🎧🌄

After that, I allowed myself an hour of mindful nourishment: 6 lbs of raw carrots (great for complexion too🥕).

Then closed out the AM with a 5km solo jog around my terrace (yes it’s small, yes I transcend space, lol). 🏃‍♂️💫

Anyway, not perfect, just consistent. Hope you have a beautiful day too😊

"Hangin' For A Blaa" is the last known recording made by Waterford pop star David Clementine (missing, presumed drunk). This rough bootleg demo suggests an artist in catastrophic vocal and physical decline. Yet the lyrics are vintage Clementine - an impassioned swansong contrasting the horrors of excess....with the wonders of floury buns.
