There’s a lot of medical advice online...not all of it coming from people with the training or experience to back it up.

My goal is simple: educate, clarify, and give you information you can actually trust.

Education over misinformation. Always.

Biopolymer removal isn’t a simple cleanup… it’s a highly specialized procedure.

These materials don’t just sit in one place, they can spread through soft tissue and interact with important structures. That’s why removal requires a thoughtful, multi-technique approach to carefully address the material while preserving healthy tissue.

This isn’t something that can be treated with standard methods alone. Experience, precision, and understanding the biology behind it all matter

Turns out being a plastic surgeon means carrying a lot of supplies with you at all times.

Let’s clear this up because a lot of people get confused.

After a BBL, you’re told not to sit because newly transferred fat needs blood supply to survive. But after biopolymer removal, there’s no fat graft that needs to survive. The goal is simply healing and proper compression.
That’s why sitting is not only okay… it’s actually encouraged after this procedure.

Different procedures. Different recovery rules.

I wasn’t going to say this… but rib remodeling shouldn’t be extremely painful.

When done correctly, only the lower three ribs are addressed because those are the ribs that define the waistline. Your corset and back muscles act like a splint while everything heals. The real problem happens when too many ribs are treated, which can make breathing painful and increase complications.

In surgery, more is not always better.

Looksmaxxing is everywhere right now, but what does it actually mean?

The trend is all about trying to optimize appearance, usually through a mix of “soft maxing” like grooming, diet, and fitness… and “hard maxing,” which can include more extreme measures or procedures.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to look your best, but the foundation should always be a healthy lifestyle, good nutrition, exercise, and taking care of yourself.

Hear me out.

When it comes to rib remodeling, more is not better. The ribs that actually influence the waistline are the 10th, 11th, and 12th ribs.

The 11th and 12th ribs create the natural indentation of the lower back, while the 10th rib forms the upper border of the waist. That’s why focusing on these lower three ribs is what truly shapes the waistline.

Going beyond that doesn’t meaningfully change the waist, it only adds unnecessary risk. Understanding anatomy is EVERYTHING.
