😱😱😂 Want to see what 24 hours of lip filler actually looks like?!

I did my lips yesterday and they are SWOLLEN AND BRUISED! I'm having to remind myself that this is NORMAL AND TEMPORARY!

Swipe left to see before, immediately after, night of and next day after filler. I'd say this is on the more extreme side of swelling and bruising. I've done my lips and really couldn't tell they were swollen and had no bruising. This time I had taken fish oil and thinned my blood. I swear I'm the worst patient!

They are already going down rapidly and I can't wait for the final result! Totally worth it! ❤️

Are you caught in the 🦆DUCK 🦆 👄 LIPS 👄 CYCLE?! 😱😱

I frequently get patients coming in requesting more lip filler and telling me filler doesn't last more than a few weeks/months for them anymore. The sad truth is they actually have TOO MUCH (or poorly done) filler that has now started to migrate outside their lips and is actually forcing their upper lip to rotate down and making their lips appear smaller when they see themselves from the front (how we typically see ourselves in the mirror or in selfies). When I take a photo from the side and show them what their lips actually look like and how all that product they thought was dissolving after a few weeks is actually creating a shelf (duck lips 😱😱😱) they are shocked!

Fortunately this is an easy fix if you're willing to be a little patient and do it the right way! Dissolving this much filler can take a few rounds, sometimes a few weeks, but it's worth it! Then we let the lips settle for a week or two and then it's time to refill the right way!

To avoid getting to this point in the first place, find ONE injector you like and trust to keep you looking natural and gorgeous! Some injectors are driven by $ and will always shove another syringe into a client's lips, even if they don't need it! Other injectors don't know any better and think they are helping by adding more. Good injectors may cost a little more, but it's your face! Don't bargain shop for medical treatments!

Ah I love my job! This wonderful lady wanted an extremely natural look to her lips. We used 1cc of to give her a beautiful soft full lip. No ducks in here! Good filler is an art form and you shouldn't trust your face to just anyone!
