Sales Director | The Current Beverly

We are proud to announce the promotion of Phil Smith to Sales Director at The Current Beverly.

Phil grew up in Andover, Massachusetts, and attended Fordham University before beginning his career in finance. He spent 12 years as a financial advisor and later managed sales for a small photography company, building a strong foundation in communication, relationship management, and leadership—skills he now brings to senior living.

Outside of work, Phil enjoys spending time with his large family and is an avid golfer. For the past 20 years, he has been a dedicated volunteer with the Special Olympics, first leading aquatics and now serving as Director of the Tennis Summer Games at Harvard each year. He lives in Lowell with his partner, Kerry, and her two daughters, Alice and Maggie, and remains actively involved in his community.

📣 We are thrilled to welcome Jackie as our new Life Enrichment Director at The Current Beverly!

Jackie is a certified Activity Director with eight years of experience in adult day centers and nursing homes. She brings incredible creativity, compassion, and a gift for designing meaningful engagement opportunities for residents.

An avid crafter, Jackie loves bringing hands-on, imaginative projects to life—something our residents are sure to enjoy. She is passionate about building a vibrant, enriching program filled with purpose, connection, and joy for all who call The Current Beverly home.

Jackie lives in East Boston, has raised four children, and now enjoys five wonderful grandchildren.

He is a seasoned senior living leader with a proven track record in transforming operations, developing high-performing teams, and creating exceptional resident experiences. He’s supported multi-site communities nationwide, often stepping in as interim Director to stabilize and elevate performance for large teams and communities.

With a background spanning senior living, hospitality, and corporate leadership, Matt excels in strategic planning, team culture, renovations, financial optimization, and modern service solutions. He’s known for blending vision with operational excellence to empower teams and make resident experiences meaningful.
