In observance of National Nurses Day (Tuesday, May 6), the Boston Globe's “Salute to Nurses” honors and celebrates the invaluable contributions of nursing professionals, acknowledging their unwavering dedication and compassionate care. The “Salute to Nurses” section will feature letters from patients and families giving thanks to special nurses in their lives, and articles celebrating those who give so much of themselves each and every date to ensure we’re cared for in times of need.

Congratulations to BradyMae White, RN, recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses!🌼💙 BradyMae was nominated by a colleague for her compassion, initiative and dedication to patient care.

Seeing a need, BradyMae gathered donations on her own time to ensure patients without access to warm clothing received coats, jackets, and other winter essentials upon discharge.

Meet Carter, Beverly Hospital's first baby of 2026!🌟

Born right on his due date at 7:32 a.m. on New Year’s Day, Carter weighed 8 lbs., 14 oz. and measured 20½ inches long. He’s already so loved, joining four excited older siblings, each delivered at Beverly Hospital, along with proud parents Katie and Mike. Congratulations to the entire family on their newest addition! 💙
