Here's why you need an airway focused dentist.
Story time!
It all starts as a baby, your parents stand over you as a baby, mouth wide open, your parent's post photos of how cute you are when you sleep.
-Now you're 7, you still wet the bed at night but your pediatrician tell's your parent's that its completely normal and sometimes kids take longer than others.
-Skip a few years, now you're about 12 - 13, it's been years of struggling to focus in school, your teachers tell your parent's all through your school years how you struggle to maintain attention and focus, they label you as lazy and unmotivated.
- Now you're a teen, you are ALWAYS tired, falling asleep when given the opportunity, but don't worry, you're just a growing teen, right? WRONG!
- Now you've graduated, moved on in life, you're a working adult, you've got unexplained medical issues such as a high BP, you rely on coffee and energy drinks, you've told your doctor.... but they never ask you about how you sleep.
-What if when you were a small child, a dentist had asked yor parents about your crowded teeth, or if you snored, or about your chapped lips?
What if they had recommened early palate expansion to help expand your airways to help you breathe? How would life be different today?
Certainly makes us wonder!
