A busy week for Crossroads Quilters this week!! Tuesday evening was our regular monthly meeting (see previous two posts).
Wednesday through Friday was the Guild’s local retreat at First Baptist Church Beverly. Thursday we hosted David Sirota, QuiltmavenDave. He taught us his method of paper piecing “No More Tears” on the Storm At Sea quilt. We learned and laughed throughout the day!!

Last night’s meeting was full of creativity!! We learned how to make tee-shirt quilts and our tie-dye challenge results were revealed!! Beautiful quilting!!

Tee-Shirt Quilts????
Ever thought you’d like to make one? If you’d like to learn how to make one for that special someone, come to our monthly meeting this Tuesday, February 17 at the Church of the Nazarene, Cabot St. Beverly. Doors open at 6 pm with social time, business mtg. at 6:30pm and Tee-shirt program begins at 7pm.
All are welcome to join us!!

Yesterday members enjoyed our Sit & Sew time working on various projects. One of our members had finished a quilt for her grandson. She hand quilted it!! Here are some photos of the lovely quilt and her grandson loving it!!

Crossroads Quilters Guild is very excited to host David Sirota in a one day workshop!! He will be teaching us his paper piecing technique on his ‘Storm at Sea’ quilt. We have a few spots open for you to join us. This one day workshop is in Beverly, MA on Wednesday February 18, 2026.

We, also, have two WIP (works in progress) days on Thursday February 19 and Friday February 20. Give yourself the luxury of a day or two of uninterrupted sewing - perhaps finishing projects that you have been looking at for a while!
