Meet Kathleen (me)

I created in 2017 with the vision to create a movement studio that felt like a home for people to be who they are, move their bodies and open their hearts and minds. Since then I have had several spaces that have held me and others under this intention. We’ve been on Cabot Street, Rantoul Street, 2 spaces in the Mojave Desert, and now coming full circle back at the beautiful space on 267 Cabot Street and I have to say, this is my favorite space yet. The antique skylight is a portal to another world.

A bit about me…
I was born and raised in Beverly and have also lived abroad several times + many moons in California. I am a Virgo sun, Libra moon and Scorpio rising. Life is intense and beautiful. I have traveled, moved and transformed throughout my adult life. It keeps me inspired and growth is the always the goal.

Some of my fav things are my animals, music - specifically a huge fan of for decades and going to live shows, traveling and spending time in Bali, adventures with friends, lounging, and poetry.

My love for Pilates was inspired by my mom who brought me to a class with maybe 15-20 years ago, I can’t even remember…but I immediately loved it. I was already practicing yoga at the time but this was something different. I continued to practice and find reformer classes whenever I was living at the time. I become a school teacher and was also starting to take yoga teacher trainings. I eventually studied thousands and thousands of hours of diverse trainings over the years including yoga, acrobatics, thai massage, reiki, breathwork, astrology…

In 2020 I completed my mat and reformer Pilates trainings with in Southern California and began teaching in the desert right away. In 2024 I moved to San Diego and was teaching 20+ classes a week (too much but great experience!) and then finally came home to the north shore in October 2025.

Then I saw a story on Instagram from that the beautiful space was available and the rest is herstpry! I still teach yoga! I will always practice yoga, it is part of me. I will continue to evolve always!

Remember the part in Forrest Gump where Forrest is running across the country and suddenly stops and says “I’m pretty tired. I think I’ll go home now.”

Well it’s like that! I’m just going where the universe sends me lol 😂. So excited to be returning HOME after almost 6 years out west!

I’m so happy to reconnect with the north shore community. I’ll be teaching a couple classes starting next week:
