What a glorious day for a parkrun! Thank you to all in attendance at this morning's special Thanksgiving event - you helped us set a new attendance record with 51 participants walking, jogging or running across the finish line!
While we give thanks on this special day we would like to acknowledge the efforts of our volunteers. Thank you to those that wore a vest today and ensured a great event. Thank you also to everyone that has volunteered at our event on other occasions - we simply cannot put on our free, weekly, community event without you. We appreciate you!!!!
We were glad to welcome a number of first time participants today. While some traveled great distances to be with us (England, Ireland, Florida), others live close by. Whether today was your first ever parkrun, or just your first with us, we hope to see you again as soon as you are able to return.
Congratulations to Stephen, Meaghan, Fred, Steve and Kate for setting new personal best times today!!! Well done!!!!
