January 29 at 6:00 AM through January 29 at 12:00 PM:

Myrtle St - Alfred St to Prospect St
Prospect St - Clark St to Myrtle St

A $5 Snow Removal parking rate will be effective in Premium Parking lot P4305 (Foss Street) and in the Pearl Street Parking Garage (P4301) during tonight's parking ban. You must use the kiosk located in each lot or use the code "SNOWREMOVAL" online to access the discounted parking rate.

We are devastated by the actions taken by our government to terrorize communities, cities, and the entire nation with their indiscriminate and inhumane enforcement actions.

Amid this unrest and distress, we intend to stay focused on caring for our community through our work in massage therapy, by calling our elected leaders, and by volunteering in our community.

We hope that you, too, are staying safe and helping to support and protect your neighbors in ways that feel right for you.

If you haven’t yet reviewed your civil rights, please visit ACLU of Maine for a clear and concise reminder. We will not allow ICE or any other authorities in the door without a judicial warrant and there are no public spaces in our practice for them to linger in.

Sometimes we laugh during a massage. Ok, frequently we laugh. 😂 Working with dancers and other body workers (like our model ) is super fun because we can share information about body stuff. We learn from all of our clients because we all experience our bodies differently, but folks who have spent time studying bodies are particularly good at describing things. If you’re looking for some guidance with your physical training regimen, Liz is a great guide! She’s trained in Pilates, yoga and dance and is a patient, knowledgeable practitioner. Highly recommend!

She’s back! Chrystina is back from Colombia. These flowers and fungi are proof of visit. She’s already been in the office this week and has a couple of openings next week. Tuesday 3pm or 5pm. The flowers are taking over the path. And we are all looking forward to seeing you. The scent of milkweed is heavenly as you walk in. The stalks will be harvested soon to make a fine fiber (can’t actually grow cotton here). As you likely know, these massage therapists are also artists and tinkerers. See you soon!

Hark means “listen” and it’s our intention to listen carefully to you and to facilitate you listening to your body. We’ve been spinning jazz, classical and more. Why “Hark”?

Our role is to help you to be more attuned to your body, to listen. And “Hark,” at its core, means “listen.”

We offer therapeutic massage to people with bodies. Over the years we’ve learned that folks have varying degrees of understanding of how those things work and even how they’re feeling. Our work helps you to feel that -- that can mean using a strong, deep tissue approach or using a lighter touch or gentle traction. We never give the same massage twice because we also aim to listen to you and to deliver an experience that suits your specific needs.
