Abbyshire Place - An Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Center Abbyshire Place is known as a premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with a holistic approach to your care and treatment.

At Abbyshire Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we offer a full calendar of activities that includes outings, recreation, crafts, and religious services. And there is always ample time for making friends, reading, or just talking over old times. This approach helps each of our residents participate in life to the fullest extent possible. We are dedicated to meeting a wide range of personal and medical needs with care and compassion. That level of concern is reflected everywhere, from the attractive surroundings to the way we get to know and respect the needs of each and every resident and patient. We take pride in offering the little extras that mean so much and make life pleasant. A Focus on Family Needs

We believe that each resident's family is as much a part of that person's care team as the doctors, nurses, and other specialists on our staff. That is why family members are an integral part of our care-planning process. We know that family members who have just placed a member in a residential facility have special needs too. To help them cope, we offer support meetings, pre-admission interviews, and personal meetings with administrative staff. Families are welcomed and encouraged to attend social functions, or just stop in and visit. We consider you an important part of the fabric of life here.

🎃 Day 4 of Halloween Spirit Week at Abbyshire! 👻
We kicked off the day with some spooky Halloween Trivia and wrapped it up with our annual Halloween Party! Residents enjoyed taco in a bag and cupcakes. Our friends at ViaQuest brought the fun with games like jumbo dice, witches hat ring toss, and pin the eyes on the zombie — complete with prizes! 🧙‍♀️🎲

Of course, no Halloween celebration is complete without our Costume Competition!

🎨 Most Creative Costume: Our Receptionist as Kraft Mac & Cheese 🧀
🍕 Best Group Costume: Our DON, ADON, Unit Managers, and Scheduler as Mrs. Frizzle, her pet lizard “Liz,” the Magic School Bus, and a student — winning themselves a pizza party lunch! 🚌💫

Day 3 of our Halloween Spirit Week had the halls filled with magic, laughter, and a touch of spooky style! Staff donned their witch hats, wizard robes, and plenty of black and purple flair. 🖤💜
The real spell of the day? A surprise visit from Ringo the Pygmy Goat 🐐 who brought smiles and cuddles all around! Plus, everyone got crafty making their own yarn-wrapped mummies — the perfect mix of spooky and sweet! 👻🧶
