West Michigan Surgery Center, established in 2006, is a privately owned ambulatory surgery center.

Named one of the nation's top Ambulatory Surgery Centers by Newsweek Magazine (2021) WMSC is licensed through the state of Michigan and has been granted Medicare-Deemed Status through the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). Accreditation by the AAAHC signifies that we have met the rigorous standards of a nationally recognized third party; and indicates our commitment to providing only the highest levels of quality care to our patients and the same high level of conduct in our business practices.

Today we celebrated Karen with a retirement luncheon at Michigan Primary Care Partners, West Michigan Pain, and West Michigan Surgery Center. After years of greeting everyone with a smile, keeping us organized, and brightening our days, Karen is officially retiring. 🎉

Karen’s commitment to our teams and our patients has meant so much, and we are so grateful for everything she has done. She has brought plenty of smiles, kindness, and positivity to WMSC over the years. ❤️

A big thank you to one of our amazing patients who was so appreciative of how quickly we were able to get him in and cared for — he surprised our team with pizza from Crusted Creations as a thank you!

The staff here at the Surgery Center love what they do… being fed pizza is definitely an added bonus!
