The ability to be vulnerable is shown to strengthen relationships, reduce anxiety, and increase self-awareness. It can be a daunting experience and it is ok to take small steps into it. This can feel like a high risk-high reward situation but with regular practice of being vulnerable it quickly becomes low risk-high reward. Seek support if needed.
