The Big Spring Center for Skilled Care is the Permian Basin's premier center for skilled nursing care and rehabilitation. building, features a fantastic entry hall, centralized nurses station, grand dining room, and an 1,800 sq. therapy gym, all laid out with a Texas Hill Country Ranch-style design. The Big Spring Center for Skilled Care is your provider of choice for all of your short term rehabilitation needs. Our therapists will work diligently to help you or your loved one return to their highest level of functioning, and get you back home. We also offer long term placement for those in need. We offer many different services such as private rooms with showers, a wound care team that comes into the facility to round weekly and a full-time wound care nurse. We invite you to stop by for a visit! Come meet our friendly staff and new management. ✨ Employee Spotlight: Gretchen ✨

Meet Gretchen, our incredible Dietary Supervisor! Originally from just outside of Chicago, Gretchen made the move to Texas six years ago. While it was a big change, she quickly fell in love with Texas and has made it home.
Gretchen’s passion for food began at a young age when she attended a kindergarten graduation and saw her very first decorative cake. That moment sparked a lifelong love for the culinary world and set her on a path to success in the food industry. She started her journey as a breakfast line cook—and 32 years later, her dedication and talent continue to shine.
Gretchen joined Creative Solutions on July 8, 2025, and in that short time, she has made an incredible impact. She recently earned an impressive 92 on her White Glove score and has maintained little to no staff turnover, a true testament to her leadership and the respect she earns from her team.
Through her cooking and service, Gretchen has found a beautiful way to express herself. Her passion and dedication are felt by residents, staff, and employees alike. She knows everyone by name and builds genuine connections, going above and beyond to make others feel valued.
We are so grateful for Gretchen and her unwavering dedication to her craft, her team, and Creative Solutions.

Guadalupe treats each of our residents as if they were her own family. With unwavering love, patience, and genuine care, she makes every resident feel seen, heard, and truly special.
