Winter Storm Eye Safety Tips:
If this storm hits and you’re out in the snow or ice, keep these eye tips in mind:
*Protect your eyes from wind, cold, and debris
– Wear glasses or sunglasses when shoveling, scraping ice, or using a snow blower to shield your eyes from blowing snow and ice.
*Expect it to be BRIGHT if we get heavy snow
– Snow can reflect a lot of light and cause glare and eye strain.

*Combat dryness from heat and cold
– Indoor heat + cold, dry outdoor air can make your eyes feel gritty or irritated.
