Reminder that the clinic is closed on Monday September 1st for Labor Day. Please get your medication refills in to the office by Thursday August 28th to make sure you do not run out over the long weekend.

Remember you can always check the website for a listing of scheduled closures at crazymountainfamilymedicine.com

Also please remember that sudden illnesses and family emergencies do come up and schedules are subject to change. We do try and schedule same day appointments but walks in are discouraged as the office may be closed if only one provider is present or if we are out of the office. Scheduled patients will always be called directly to reschedule in the event of an emergency. Remember to call the office at 406-932-7100 and leave a message for what provider you wish to see and any preferred days or times and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Due to changes in family circumstances and scheduling we are starting new clinic hours effective 6/9/25 unless otherwise posted on the website or Facebook. These are the times one physician should be in the office and will be returning phone calls/faxes/refill requests.

Monday - Wednesday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Thursday 8:30 am to 3 pm
Friday through Sunday Closed

Additional days and times for appointments are at the discretion of individual physicians upon request and as available.

The lobby will be closed except for scheduled appointments (and the doors may be locked for safety). If you have any need such as scheduling, billing, refills, etc, please call the office at 406-932-7100 and leave a message. Your calls will be returned as soon as possible.

Good Afternoon,

Dr. Wallace “Ace” Walker is now seeing all types of patients at Crazy Mountain Family Medicine including acute visits, wellness visits, Flight Physicals and I am pleased to announce that he has passed his DOT certification test so will soon also be able to do DOT physicals.

Please call the office to schedule appointments now. Please leave a message with your name, date of birth and return phone number and if you would like to see Dr. Lizotte or Dr. Walker and we will call you back and get you set up.

Please note if you have previously seen Dr. Walker at any other location you will have to complete a new registration with our clinic to get refills, but the process is quick and easy, and we can get this done within 24 hours. Appointments with Dr. Walker are available at various times and days and he oversees his schedule outside of the regular CMFM posted hours as available to improve patient availability as much as possible.

I am happy to have Dr. Walker work in the office with me and we look forward to continuing to care for the Big Timber Community.

I am happy to announce that Dr. Ace Walker MD will be seeing patients at Crazy Mountain Family Medicine. He will be starting mostly on Fridays and then extend services as needed to see patients. He will officially start seeing patients on Friday December 13th!

There will be new patient packets in the foyer for people to stop in and pick up so they will be ready for appointments. You can also print packets off our official website at https://www.crazymountainfamilymedicine.com

If you are requesting any medical records from your current providers be sent to Dr. Walker please have them sent to 406-932-7102 which is the secure Fax number of Crazy Mountain Family Medicine.

I am happy to have Dr. Walker start seeing patients out of my clinic.

This will be a major transition for the clinic and I appreciate your patience as we get everything ironed out to continue to provide exceptional care to the community.

Good afternoon Big Timber

I am a part of multiple physician groups across the country.

Many of my colleagues as well as myself are fielding hundreds of messages from patients for increased feelings of anxiousness as well as suicidal ideation and thoughts of self-harm.

Holidays, winter months, stressful events including elections can bring these feelings to the forefront for lots of individuals. It is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed of.

I encourage anyone to PLEASE call 988 if you start to feel suicidal, homicidal, or any other severe psychiatric symptoms. This is the National Su***de and Crisis Lifeline free hotline, and they are staffed 24/7 with people to talk to that can get you help.

You can also call 911 or go to the ER for help.

The website https://www.iasp.info/suicidalthoughts has some great resources for everyone including ones focused for various groups including veterans, seniors, youth, teens, LGBTQ+, etc. The website https://www.thetrevorproject.org has 24/7 access to crises managers for LGBTQ+ people having suicidal thinking or that need support.

My clinic will always be a safe haven for all people regardless of gender (biological or identity), religion, race, etc. Please do not hesitate to seek help at any time.

The Trevor Project is a non-profit su***de prevention organization that provides 24/7 crisis support services, research, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ young people.

To my patients who have been waiting on prescription refills my apologies. My Electronic Health Record apparently had some issues that I was just made aware of (after some calls from patients to make sure I was okay :) and back and forth with the company). I got all of the requests today from the entire month of October (over 200). These will all be done by the end of the day today. If you do not have your prescriptions from the pharmacy within 2 days and have put in a request through the pharmacy please call the office (406-932-7100) and leave me a message and I will get it taken care of immediately.
