🌟 Employee of the Month: Lynette Lovdahl! 🌟

Please join us in congratulating Lynette Lovdahl, our November Employee of the Month here at Bigfork Valley!

Lynette works primarily as a Perioperative RN in our Surgical Department, and she also lends a helping hand in Acute Care and the ER. We’re so grateful for the many ways she contributes to Bigfork Valley.

Lynette’s inspiration to become a nurse came from her grandmother, who always dreamed of pursuing nursing but didn’t have the means to attend college. Growing up, Lynette would spend time paging through her grandmother’s collection of medical books, a spark that ignited her lifelong passion for caring for others. 💙

Today, that same compassion shines through in everything Lynette does. She’s always willing to assist the nursing staff in the Emergency Department, and no matter the situation, she remains professional, kind, and dedicated to providing exceptional care. Lynette truly embodies what it means to be a team player.

Thank you, Lynette, for the heart, skill, and spirit you bring to Bigfork Valley every day! 👏

💙 Honoring the Memory of Billy 💙

Our Bigfork Valley family recently lost a dear coworker and friend, Billy. Known for his hard work, quick wit, and signature countdown of how many paydays were left until Christmas, Billy brought laughter and dedication to every day.

He was nominated several times for our Employee Appreciation Award, recognizing his commitment to our hospital, patients, and community.

To honor his memory, a new bench, built by the Bigfork School shop class, now sits in front of the hospital. Carved into it are the words “Billy’s Bench,” a lasting reminder of his kindness, humor, and the impact he had on us all.

We invite everyone who knew Billy to take a moment at Billy’s Bench, to sit, reflect, and remember a wonderful friend who will always hold a special place in our hearts. 💙
